<p>After our daughter finished her tenth year in 4H I must admit I was ready for a break. I love 4H and everything it stands for and teaches our kids, but after 10 years it was starting to become a job and being retired from there was a nice feeling.</p>
<p>And then our niece came to stay with us for the spring and summer. Being a city girl she hasn&#8217;t had a lot of exposure to life on a farm, and since we are all about working the farm and critters and pets and learning by doing, we tossed her feet first in to 4H.</p>
<p>I think she might learn to like it.</p>
